Soletti Salzstangerl are produced in Feldbach, in the Styrian Volcanic Region since 1949. Originally, the bakery Zach sold amongst others pretzels, which afforded a considerable amount of time due to manual shaping. Since the family was always eager to produce in the most efficient way, the idea was born to simply bake the "noodles" necessary for shaping the pretzels in a straight form: The pretzel stick was born!
Nowadays, a broad range of different Soletti products is produced in Feldbach. The star of the range is for sure our world-famous Soletti Salzstangerl. Naturally made from 100% Austrian flour and 100% rock salt from the Austrian Alps and – of course – 100% free of palm-oil.
